Umo is the founder, co-owner and Sports Performance Dietitian for 180Physique Nutrition and Fitness.
She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), a licensed dietitian in the state of Oklahoma (LD), a board certified sports Dietitian (CSSD) a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medcine (NASM-CPT), and IPE Professional Physique Athlete. Umo attended the University of Oklahoma and received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nutritional Sciences. Following this, she continued her studies and experiences in the areas of clinical nutrition, behavioral nutrition, weight-loss management, sports nutrition, sport-specific training and personal/group training.
Umo has counseled and developed customized nutrition plans for a variety of both amateur and professional athletes. She’s passionate about educating athletes on how proper nutrition can boost performance and aid in recovery. She’s a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (OkAND), Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN) and Behavioral Health (BHN).
Umo’s goal is to educate athletes on how proper nutrition habits and choices can help them perform at higher level, recover faster and live healthier lives.
Coaching Experience: Umo has coached pro and amateur athletes. She has coached crossfit athletes, bodybuilders, powerlifters and United States military service men and women. She believes that every person or athlete, no matter his or her current fitness level, is capable of achieving the health and fitness they need in order to perform at their optimal level. They just need the mental toughness to “get over the hump”.
