Dr. Hickerson has been teaching, coaching and training students and athletes of all levels for over 15 years.
Seth has helped individuals, from beginners to professionals, in accomplishing their goals through Sport Specific Training, Mental Toughness Training and Leadership Development. Seth has worked extensively in collegiate and high school athletics and academics, as as well as commercial fitness/wellness facilities and non-profit associations.
Dr. Hickerson received his B.S degree in Health and Physical Education (K-12) from Indiana State University. He then completed his M.S. degree from the University of Tennessee majoring in Sport Studies (with a focus in Sport Psychology). His doctorate was obtained in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Seth is a member of the Applied Association of Sport Psychology and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) from the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association). Dr. Hickerson is a veteran of both the U.S. Navy (Active Duty) and the U.S. Air Force (reserve) where he proudly served for 8 years while spending 5 years overseas.
Seth is passionate about helping people become the best they can be. He knows that for people to be truly successful in sport and life they should understand how they can improve on all 3 aspects of performance (Physical, Mental, and Social). BOOST was established to address these 3 areas and help people become the best they can be.
