Dave began a 32-year career with FAA in 1962, starting as an air traffic controller in Miami, FL. He retired from FAA in 1994 as Deputy Director. While at FAA, he entered a career development program that took him to the Alaskan and Southwest Regions as Personnel Officer. He was Manager of the FAA Logistics Center in Oklahoma City prior to becoming the Deputy Director. After retiring from FAA, Dave began a career in academia with Oklahoma City University that spanned from 1994 to 2007. He retired as Dean of the Meinders School of Business in 1999 and moved to Professor of Management and Organizational Behavior. Dave’s civic activities included: member of the Governor’s Task Force on Aviation Education, Leadership Oklahoma Class II, South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, trustee at Hillcrest Health Center, and South Oklahoma City Rotary Club, and the Oklahoma City Business Ethics Consortium.
