Everything in life is based on your perception and unfortunately, most people perceive most things as a threat or as fear. You brain doesn’t know that you are “scared” of missing a putt, interviewing for a job, taking a test etc….all it knows is you are “threatened” and that there is a lion about to eat your face! So it prepares your body to behave threatened. That’s a good thing if a lion is actually coming after you…but a bad thing if you are playing a sport or walking into a meeting.
The GOAL is to see the OPPORTUNITY IN EVERYTHING!!! This will make you behave more confidently and opportunistically.
